Cheryl Taylor has a Masters in Secondary Education with a Science Specialization from Lamar University. She has taught secondary science for 22 years in both public and private schools, including upper-level courses such as AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, and Anatomy & Physiology for Austin Community College. My goal in teaching has always been to make science interesting and relevant to my students while also challenging them to achieve their highest potential. This has become harder and harder to do in public schools as more and more emphasis is put on school ratings and just passing the TAKS test. I am looking forward to working with your children to both foster a love for science and to help them prepare for academic success in the future.
